However, the mining unit has not stopped encroaching on the coal under the urban area of Uttar Pradesh, which eventually caused the occurrence of geological disasters such as large-scale landslides, ground cracking, and subsidence in the Beibang in previous years, forcing urban residents to relocate, and enterprises such as the first oil plant and the Fushun power plant had to stop production and close.

It is understood that the Fushun West open pit mine after the closure mainly carries out two tasks:
First, the West Open Pit pit is backfilled and ecologically restored. The specific work is to backfill the mining stripping of fushun east open pit mine to Fushun west open pit mine, and then cover the soil, plant trees and other vegetation, and the land has been restored for about dozens of hectares, with remarkable results. The second is the finishing work. Its main task is to clean up the coal left under the pit and transport it up, eat it dry and squeeze it clean.
Now that the Fushun West open-pit mine has been closed for more than two years, the "finishing work" after the closure is still being carried out under the pit, and the real situation is probably still aimed at the coal pressed under the Uttar Pradesh urban area of the west open pit mine. If the opportunity continues to exploit coal under the urban area of Uttar Pradesh, a western open-pit mine, it will one day cause greater geological disasters and the urban area will be more damaged.
