The Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio revealed on Weibo yesterday afternoon that Comrade Jiao Yesong, the director of the factory who had been the animation designer of "Little Tadpole Finds Mother", unfortunately died at the age of 91 at 10:52 a.m. on January 27 due to ineffective medical treatment. Due to the special period, after consulting with the family, it was decided to postpone the announcement.

Jiao Yesong, born in August 1929 in Jixian County, Heilongjiang Province, as the creative backbone of the East Film Southward Migration Film Group, has made important contributions to the creation of American film animation and the cultivation of young animation talents, and is the animation design of films such as "Little Carp Jumping Dragon Gate", "Little Tadpole Finds Mother", "Mudi", "Little Sister of The Grassland Hero", "Trumpeter" and other films, he is also the director of films such as "Little White Pigeon", "The Adventure of Petite", "Tiger Learning Art" and one of the screenwriters of "The Adventure of Petite".

In an interview before his death, Matsu said that doing animation work is very meaningful and very needed, "because children need interesting things to guide them to learn deeply." There is no fun, and the children are not interested."

In his later years, Jiao Yesong still had his heart set on the animation cause, and donated the animation manuscripts he had kept for decades to the Meiying Studio for the study of the Chinese animation school.
