The "Take Me to the Moon" series of aerospace science picture books was officially launched

From the Chang'e-5 probe bringing back lunar samples, to the successful sailing of Zhu Rong on the surface of Mars, to the astronauts stationed on the Chinese space station, China's aerospace has made new contributions to mankind's exploration of the mysteries of the universe, which has stimulated the interest of all sectors of society, especially children, in space technology, and stimulated their national pride and self-confidence. In order to meet the curiosity of the majority of children and children about China's aerospace and their yearning for aerospace knowledge in a timely manner, the 208 Institute of the Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry of China has carefully created the "Take Me to the Moon" original aerospace science picture book series ("I Want to Go to the Moon", "Take Me to the Moon", "Home on the Moon").

The "Take Me to the Moon" series is the first set of the latest reading materials for children to introduce the whole process of China's lunar exploration to children since Chang'e 5 returned with the lunar soil. In accordance with the trilogy timeline of "The Origin and Development of the Moon - China's Chang'e Lunar Exploration Project - Building a Lunar Base", the whole book uses interesting pictures and texts to string together more than 100 lunar science knowledge through forward-looking scientific vision and fine realistic style illustrations, so that children can immerse themselves in the scene, open their minds, and imagine the wonderful life on the moon. This set of picture books is also another popular science masterpiece carefully polished by the 208 Institute of the Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry of China after the series of "Marching into Space" manned space science picture books. Previously, the "Journey to Space" series has won various awards from the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the publishing industry, planting a spark of hope for exploring space in the hearts of children.

In order to deliver the "Take Me to the Moon" series of picture books to young readers and parents at the fastest speed, on June 22, the 208 Institute of the Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry of China, together with the Motie Books and the parent-child reading promotion agency Youbei Group, jointly held the launch ceremony of the "Take Me to the Moon" series of new books at the "Fourth Parent-Child Reading Industry Summit • Beijing Station". Zhong Shan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the event, and in his speech, he hoped that the children could plug in the wings of their dreams through reading, learn scientific knowledge, inherit the spirit of spaceflight, and approach aerospace step by step and move towards the future.

Li Xiaohong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the 208 Institute of Aerospace Science and Industry, solemnly recommended the "Take Me to the Moon" series of aerospace science popularization picture books to parents from all over the country at the launch ceremony of the new book, in order to open the children's flying dreams and moon exploration dreams with parents through the bridge of parent-child reading, to help the children aspire to spaceflight, take the dream as a boat, and sail to the sea of stars.
