The founding major general was promoted to the secretary of the provincial party committee, but his son was sentenced to death and a suspended death sentence

In 1955, our army held a grand ceremony to confer titles, and after careful and meticulous evaluation, a total of ten founding marshals, ten founding generals and thousands of republican generals were selected. Among these generals, the major general had the largest number of places, up to 798, and later promoted many more. In contrast, the founding major generals are generally young and strong, and they are the reserve force for the talents of our army. Many of them have made great achievements later, such as General Xiong Yingtang, which we are going to talk about today.

Xiong Yingtang, born in 1911, is a native of Hong'an County, Hubei Province. As we all know, Hong'an County is a red land, and a revolutionary regime was established very early. Influenced by progressive ideas, Xiong Yingtang joined the Red Army at the age of 17 with a haircut burden. At first, Xiong Yingtang was in the army, responsible for cutting the soldiers' hair. Until the battle, he bravely captured a gun and became a charging warrior.

During the war years, Xiong Yingtang participated in the Long March, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and the War of Liberation of the Red Fourth Front, and successively served as the commander of the Red Army, the commander of the New Fourth Army, and the deputy commander of the Third Field Army, and gradually grew into a senior general of our army. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Xiong Yingtang was awarded the rank of founding major general, and later became the secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, which can be described as extremely prominent. Unfortunately, General Xiong is brave and invincible, but his two sons are very uncompetitive.

General Xiong has twin sons named Xiong Beiping and Xiong Ziping. Because General Xiong's education level is not high, coupled with busy work, the burden of educating children falls on his wife. However, Madame Xiong was particularly spoiled and responsive to her two sons, and "Er Xiong" lived the life of a young master who dressed to stretch out his hands and open his mouth with food since he was a child. When he grew up, the indispensable "second bear" began to bully his classmates, and even the teacher did not pay attention to it.

The family sent the "two bears" to join the army, hoping to make them change. However, the strict discipline of the troops could not control the "second bear" at all, and the brothers often drank and made trouble and violated military discipline. In 1972, General Xiong Yingtang and his wife were transferred out of Zhejiang and went to Sichuan to work thousands of miles away. The "second bear" is even more arrogant, not only bullying the local people, but also defiling many young women and becoming a villain on the side of the scourge.

In 1978, with the report of the masses and the support of the central government, the "second bear" was arrested and imprisoned. When General Xiong, who was far away in Sichuan, learned of this, his face turned blue with anger, and he immediately said that he would not interfere, and his family was not allowed to intercede. "Erxiong" was still arrogant at first, and when he learned that his father did not care about himself, his attitude immediately changed. Older brother Xiong Beiping cooperated with the investigation and actively confessed guilt, but younger brother Xiong Ziping still refused to cooperate. The brothers' different confessional attitudes also determined their later ending.

In November 1979, a public sentencing conference was held in Hangzhou, and Xiong Ziping was sentenced to death and Xiong Beiping was sentenced to a suspended death. Soon, Xiong Ziping was taken to the execution site by five flowers and executed by shooting, which was very gratifying for a while. The "two bears" fu fa has also caused a huge sensation, and many high-ranking cadres and disciples have taken it as a warning.
