Wu Dai (1918.11-1996.11), male, from Changting County, Fujian Province. In 1931, he joined the Communist Youth League of China. In 1933, he joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. In 1934, he was transferred from the regiment to the Communist Party of China. He was awarded the rank of major general in 1955. He was awarded the Order of August 1, Second Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom, Second Class, and the Liberation Medal, First Class. Former deputy political commissar and adviser of the Beijing Military Region. He is a deputy to the Third National People's Congress and a deputy to the Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. On November 5, 1996, Wu Dai died in Beijing at the age of 78.
