At the beginning of the merger of the Beijing Peking Opera Troupe, the classic play "Qin Xianglian", which is still widely sung to this day, was arranged, with Ma, Tan and Zhang playing Wang Yanling, Chen Shimei and Qin Xianglian, and Qiu Shengrong playing Bao Zheng.
Tan Yuanshou said humbly: I remember the rehearsal of "Qin Xianglian" the most, when I was young, frankly speaking, I was not yet mature artistically, and there were many good characters in the troupe, basically there were no particularly conspicuous roles.
However, in the play "Qin Xianglian", Mr. Zhang Junqiu named me to play 'Han Qi', and told me to let me think more about the characters and choreograph some singing. ”
Mr. Tan Yuanshou said that the role of "Han Qi" is an important character in the plot of "Qin Xianglian", especially the "killing temple", which has feelings, drama and strength.
