In the 1960s, Tan Yuanshou was famous at home and abroad for playing the role of Guo Jianguang in the Peking Opera "Sha Jiabang".
In the history of Peking Opera in China, the art of the Tan School of Peking Opera, which has been passed down for seven generations, is not only the legend of Pear Garden, but also a model of Peking Opera art in China, and the family style of the Tan family is more praised by the world.
Mr. Tan Yuanshou is the fifth generation of Peking Opera Tanmen and the representative inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project (Peking Opera). His representative works include the traditional Peking Opera "Dingjun Mountain", "Mulberry Garden Sending Son", "Asking The Tree", etc., which are known as classics in Peking Opera.
