Traveling to the Long han dynasty, it is often said that the guests know: "The husband is the ambition, the poor should be strong, and the old should be strong." "Because of the field and pasture, there are thousands of cattle, horses, and sheep, and tens of thousands of grains. He sighed: "Whoever cultivates goods and property can give charity, otherwise he will keep the money and ears." "It is scattered in the old days of Ban Kundi, dressed in sheep fur pants."

Unfortunately, under the domination of instrumental rationality and utilitarian thought, we tend to rationalism and mass-produce homogeneous people.

Those who know people can teach people, and the eldest brother knows that his brother is determined to graze cattle in the border counties. One is to understand the actual situation of the border counties, and the other is to make a fortune. Ma Quan used "big instruments to become late" and "good work does not show people to be simple" to motivate Ma Yuan. Motivating people to succeed is much higher than the success rate of discipliners! At present, some teachers' concept of talent has been distorted or even narrowed to the point of judging people by their academic success or failure, which is unscientific.

Ma Yuan lived in the Eastern Han Dynasty, where filial piety was taught, and social education made him a filial piety person. When traveling to the Long han Dynasty, he often said to the guests: "The ambition of the eldest husband should be more firm when he is poor, and more vigorous in old age." "Because of the cultivation and grazing, there are thousands of cattle, horses and sheep, and tens of thousands of grains. He also sighed, "All the property obtained from the agricultural and pastoral business is valuable in being able to give relief to others, otherwise it is just a scrooge!" So he scattered all the property to his brother and the old man. He lived in sheep fur pants.

Wang Yangming one day read the "Later Han Shu Ma Yuanlie Biography" and saw the famous words of the Fubo general Ma Yuan: "The big husband is determined, the poor should be strong, the old should be strong", "When the boy dies in the border field, he wraps his body in Ma Ge and returns", Wang Yangming can't help but boil with blood.

After returning home, he asked his grandfather Wang Lun: "What is the greatest ambition in life?" Wang Lun smiled: "Of course, the 'three immortals' of morality, meritorious service, and speech are the highest ideals of life in Confucianism." ”

Wang Lun cleared his throat and continued to explain to Wang Shouren: "In the Spring and Autumn Period, Lu Guo's uncle Sun Bao and Fan Xuanzi of the Jin State discussed what is 'dead and immortal'. Fan Xuanzi believes that his ancestors have been aristocrats since Yu, Xia, Shang, and Zhou, and their families are prominent and incense is endless, which is 'immortality'. Shusun Leopard disagreed with this statement, believing that it could only be called 'Shilu' rather than 'Immortal'. In his view, the true immortality is 'too high to have merit, followed by meritorious service, and again to have a word, although it has not been abolished for a long time, which is called the three immortals.' Since then, Confucians have regarded this 'three immortals' as the goal of their lifelong struggle. ”

Confucius: "Aspirations are in the Tao, according to virtue, according to benevolence, and in art." Wang Yangming said: "If you don't stand up, there is nothing in the world that can be accomplished." "If you aspire to be a saint, you will become a saint; if you aspire to be a sage, you will become a sage." Zhu Xi also said, "In order to learn, we must first make up our minds." If you are determined, you can focus on learning. Determined, it will not help. Wang Yangming believes that the first priority of human beings is not to study the imperial examination, but to learn to be a saint.

It can be seen from this that people cannot do without roots, otherwise they will not grow much, and how important it is to establish root education!
