Spring and autumn are in full bloom, the summer heat is gradually fading, and another kind of warmth comes to mind. From the harvest, but also from the hope. Autumn is given too much waiting and anticipation. Directed by Wang Junye, written by Rao Jun, and starring Cao Jun, An Yuexi and Luo Gang, the rural revitalization theme network drama "On the Field of Hope" was launched on this autumn day. Taking inspiration as the basis of the story, the play starts from the perspective of young party members, uses the expression methods of contemporary rural developmentism and realism, creates a group of vivid and enthusiastic youth images, records the new style of rural revitalization in the new era, explores new problems in rural revitalization, and tells young people to make a new exemplary role in the story of rural revitalization. In the play, Li Shitao, played by Luo Gang, left a particularly deep impression on people, with a stubborn personality, integrity, single-mindedness for the people, selfless dedication, he is an "ideal" role, but also the epitome of many poverty alleviation workers. Zi Jie interviewed Luo Gang, played by Li Shitao in "On the Field of Hope", which is a story about harvest and hope.

Sister Zi: Your new work "On the Field of Hope" is currently airing, so let's briefly introduce the role you played in it.

Luo Gang: Li Shitao is the director of the Education Bureau who was transferred abroad, and he is also responsible for poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation. He is a very stubborn person, which is very similar to Zhang Nan. Problems encountered in the work must be solved, do not go around any bend, with their own actions and work results to serve the public, is a very distinctive trait of this role. In addition, we look at the relationship between Li Shitao and Zhang Nan, who is not only a colleague in Zhang Nan's work, but also his Bole and Zhang Nan's future. But Li Shitao is an idealized character, and he is the narrator of the country's policies and rural revitalization in the play.

Sister Zi: In the play, Li Shitao, the director and secretary of the Education Bureau played by you, did not forget his original intention, and worked diligently in accordance with the principle of "my heart is bright" all his life, which is also a true portrayal of contemporary grassroots poverty alleviation workers. What did you do in the early stages to get close to the character? Has there been a deeper understanding of poverty alleviation cadres?

Luo Gang: Last year, I participated in a tribute film from the Tianshan Film Studio, playing a branch teacher who dedicated his life to the frontier, and at that time I came into contact with the rural education industry and followed the crew to visit many grass-roots units. Playing the role of Li Shitao this time, I also went through many national implementation plans and policies in this regard. During the filming process, we went to many villages and felt the work done by the state on the construction of rural education and poverty alleviation. When I went to shoot, the rural revitalization plan has been implemented for a while, so we have seen a lot of rural revitalization results, even the villages on the mountain, all have cement roads, the characteristic residential houses are very clean, each household has a clean toilet, and the hardware conditions of the school are also very good, this is the change, and it is also a side that we as ordinary people are very happy to see. Many grassroots poverty alleviation cadres in our country have dedicated their lives and even their lives to their posts, and the tidbits and ends of our drama can also see the real interviews of some poverty alleviation cadres by the crew, who are real heroes and people worthy of our respect and memory.

ZiJie: Li Shitao is Zhang Nan's "Bole". Not only did he pity Zhang Nan's talent, but he also paid out of his own pocket when Zhang Nan's mother was ill and handed over 80,000 yuan to Zhang Nan for emergency relief in the name of the organization. What does Li Shitao look like in your eyes? Details make or break, what details do you do with character development?

Luo Gang: Li Shitao is a romantic person, he gave up the promotion opportunity in the coastal city to serve in the remote west, which is itself an act full of romanticism, and the root of this choice is also based on his desire to help more poor people with good intentions and to make more contributions to Tongjiang's education and poverty alleviation. He is also a very "practical" person, "practical" is to adapt to local conditions, under the premise of unswervingly adhering to his ideals, go deep into the front line, listen to and understand the voice of the people, and constantly adjust plans and programs to solve problems. The character "floating in the air" is a common problem in many film and television works, and I think first of all, our script is very solid, which provides a good foundation for the actor's interpretation. When dealing with the role of Li Shitao, I tried my best to dissolve the character's characteristics and spirit in his every move, and "landing" is to make the audience feel that this person is real, not just a tall and mighty image, so it is very important to live.

Sister Zi: In the process of acting, what part of the plot touched you the most? How do you interpret the title "On the Field of Hope"?

Luo Gang: At the end of the play, there is a character named Liu Manqing, who was already close to retirement age, but he joined the village team and finally sacrificed himself in the front line of poverty alleviation. After Liu Manqing's death, there was a scene, according to the original script everyone was reminiscing, he himself was not there, the director turned him back into life through artistic processing, he appeared on this scene, but everyone also understood that he was not there, but at this time he knew that he could hear and see, a very touching scene. There are many people who have participated in the revitalization of the countryside, and many people have been sacrificed throughout the country, so we are remembering these people through this drama and mourning these people. "On the field of hope" is actually very easy to understand, it is precisely because there is everyone who struggles in the front line of poverty alleviation, so no matter which corner of the motherland, it is full of hope, and this drama also really presents this "hope" very well, so that everyone can see.

Zi Jie: "On the Field of Hope" This work closely follows the proposition of the era of education reform and plays the main theme of rural revitalization. Under such a background story, after playing the role of Li Shitao, you should feel more strongly about this, can you talk to you briefly?

Luo Gang: I think what I have most deeply realized is that the source of rural revitalization should be education. In the past, everyone may have always felt that we should focus on the economy and make everyone rich, but in fact, only when the mind is rich, the economy can be fundamentally rich, which is why the Education Bureau in the play has to engage in counterpart support.

Sister Zi: Acting is not an easy profession, it needs to be emotionally energetic and enthusiastic at all times. Having played so many classic roles, what do you think is supporting your continuous creation?

Luo Gang: I think that actors who can constantly have good plays are happy, which is also the driving force that supports actors to keep moving forward. A good script, a good role in your hands, how to complete him well, presented to everyone, is a responsibility, but also an achievement, as long as I keep acting, this responsibility and achievement is a steady stream. The standard of an actor is actually very simple, that is, to do a good job as a profession.

Sister Zi: For acting, do you have any unique experiences that you can share with young actors?

Luo Gang: I am also constantly learning, there are people outside the world, only continuous learning can constantly improve themselves. Young actors are good as long as they work hard and are down-to-earth, followed by more observation experience. Actors must not be separated from life, only love life, you have a variety of people in your eyes, they will teach you how to create a variety of roles.

Q&A

Q : What is the most relaxing activity in your daily life?

A: I like to drink black tea, which is really good for the body. Waking up in the morning to have time for tea, watching the news and ball games is a very relaxing thing for me.

Q: Do you like to read in private?

A: I like to read magazines, in the 90s my salary was a few dozen dollars a month, at that time, about half of the money would be used to buy magazines, and I didn't dare to read too fast, otherwise I wouldn't have to read at the end of the month.

Q: What have you been insisting on?

A: Keep exercising. When I was young, I liked to play basketball, and now I am running, and a good physical condition can also help me get into work faster.

Q: Want to try a challenge?

A: The contrast between the roles played over the years is also quite large. There are great people like Chairman Mao, as well as small people or villains who have been played. At this stage, I still want to re-act in all kinds of roles, and different ages have different shapes for roles, and it is also a pleasure to look back.

Q: What has been the creed of life all along?

A: My life credo should be to stick to it. From the time I first started acting, I felt that my innate conditions were not very good. Some actors have strong language expression skills, and some people are born with humorous cells, which is the difference between innate and acquired talents, but as long as they persist, this difference does not exist.

"Reform will be painful, but if there is no reform, it will be a long pain," li Shitao said in the face of the severe task of poverty alleviation, which is also the source of faith that every poverty alleviation worker solemnly adheres to. "On the Field of Hope" shows us the development process of the new countryside for our true restoration, and each picture is extremely close to life and more vivid and cute. We were relieved that the supervision group rode a buffalo across the river because the rainstorm road was impassable, and we were sometimes anxious and angry because the poverty alleviation group encountered obstacles that the villagers did not understand, and we were also touched by Pei Jingchun's understanding of finally starting from the overall situation, and the innocent and tearful dreams of the children in the mountain village. There are many difficulties and obstacles on this road, but everyone is trying their best to find a vigorous and upward path. In addition to everyone's eyes, there are many people's cadres who are fighting in the frontline like Li Shitao and Zhang Nan, and they are doing their best to create a warm society for us. They are ordinary people of the times, but they have become heroes of life.

Based on reality, the character will be full of temperature and power. A good actor must not only outline the role in the script, but also learn to jump out of the script and improve the role itself in life. From the loyal and sincere Duan Zi Tho in "Ode to Tea", zhao Zhiwei who dares to love and dare to hate in "Red Cross Square Team", and then to Li Shitao, who is dedicated to the people in "On the Field of Hope" today, after interpreting so many classic roles, Teacher Luo Gang still said calmly: I am still in the process of continuous learning. Practical and humble, love of life, day after day of hard work, like a bowl of warm porridge, it takes time to simmer slowly, not warm, but enough to warm half of the wind and dust.
