Today (3rd) is the 76th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. According to the Hong Kong Business Daily Network, Hong Kong held a commemorative ceremony in the Memorial Garden of the Hong Kong City Hall this morning, and Leung Chun-ying, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Carrie Lam, chief executive, former Chief Executive Tsang Yam-kuen, three directors general, Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal Cheung Chung-neng, and Legislative Council President Leung Jun-yan attended the commemorative ceremony.

The scene first raised the national flag and played the national anthem, and then the police rifle honor guard fired 21 guns to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who contributed to the victory of the War of Resistance, and all the people present at the ceremony observed a two-minute silence. Lam then joined representatives from various sectors, including the central government in Hong Kong, the judiciary, government agencies, the Executive Council and legislative council, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and veterans' representatives, to bow to the martyrs in front of the memorial shrine. The entire ceremony lasted about 10 minutes.
