Fei Hongtai mentioned that the Kuomintang caucus came to the "Control Yuan" today to seek justice for the people of Kaohsiung, because Chen Qimai and the municipal government team were slack and lazy in their administration, resulting in the death of innocent Kaohsiung citizens, and demanded that the "Control Yuan" must go beyond the party's impartial investigation.
Chen Yuzhen said that since the incident, we have seen that the "legislators" and officials of the DPP in Kaohsiung are bent on pushing the responsibility for the accident to "man-made arson," "public safety accidents," "incomplete laws and regulations on more (urban renewal)," and "no management committee." Thousands of mistakes are the fault of others and the faults of the grassroots.
Chen Yuzhen said bluntly that the Kuomintang caucus sent Chen Qingxin's letter today, demanding that the "Control Yuan" impartially investigate, and even more demanding that Chen Ju, a party to this case and the subject of the investigation, must recuse himself from this case so that the Kaohsiung city government officials who have neglected their duties can receive the punishment they deserve.
