To this end, Chen Ju, then mayor of Kaohsiung and head of the Taiwan Supervision Agency at the time of the gas explosion tragedy, said in a Facebook post that "no faith in justice cannot be recalled", and that the previous "rumors circulating everywhere are abuses of freedom of speech" and are a false demonstration of provoking social and ethnic antagonism. It seems that the Kaohsiung District Prosecutor's Office returned her "innocence."
