"Oil mushroom" under the poplar forest

author:Song and far away

I've known poplar mushrooms for almost forty years. This is due to the fact that where I live, there are large areas of poplar tree sand and windbreak forests. But all along, the "oil mushroom" produced under the poplar (artificial) forest that I stubbornly managed was called "rhubarb mushroom". The main reason is that among the many wild mushrooms under the poplar forest, the individuals of "rhubarb mushroom" are relatively large and pale yellow in color. There are many other yellow mushrooms of varying shades under the poplar forest. But they are all smaller than it individually. In addition, I don't like to call the rhubarb mushroom "oil mushroom", because I have already accepted the name of "oil mushroom" in my heart, which is the "red sticky dough" and "yellow sticky dough" under the sassafras pine forest (recently in the "Today's Headlines" someone also said a kind of "white sticky dough").

In addition, poplar planting is common, so the production of rhubarb mushrooms is relatively large.

Since people who approve of it call "rhubarb mushroom" "oil mushroom", then I don't screw it, just "conform to the crowd"!

The "oil mushroom" stalk is short and resistant to aging. Leave in place until air-dried, and can still be harvested for consumption. It does not give birth to insects and does not produce maggots from birth to old age. After the top surface of the rhubarb mushroom is drenched in rain, the surface is watery like oily slime, and under normal circumstances, it is dry throughout.

The wild mountain fungus resources on the plains are not as rich and diverse as in the mountains. Therefore, people cherish and cherish it. The various wild mountain mushrooms produced by poplar plantations, especially the largest individual "oil mushroom" (another is the "potato mushroom", which produces less) and various small mushrooms are all harvested and not discarded.

I once found poplar mushrooms under the poplar trees on the mountain of Enhe Township (Daxinganling Natural Forest - Northeast Xiaoye Poplar) in Hulunbuir City, and under the volcanic poplar (Xiangyang) forest on the lava rock of Wudalianchi Volcano.

Poplar trees, as fast-growing forest species, are on the roadside of Wudalianchi Scenic Area and on the roadside of Jiayin County; although the spacing between trees and trees is large, poplar mushrooms are also grown.

Under the many windbreaks on the Songnen Plain (Daqing City and the surrounding four counties), "oil mushrooms" have become the main wild mountain fungus! When the "oil mushroom" was unearthed in large quantities, people went into the forest to look for and collect. The "oil mushrooms" on the stall beds on the market are even more eye-catching.

The newly unearthed "oil mushrooms" are surrounded and covered by leaves, and it is difficult to find.

When collecting the "oil mushroom", take a knife and cut off the root with the soil. Prevents fine sand from entering the folds on the underside of the cap.

The commodity "oil mushrooms" sold in the market, I wonder where they were collected? Where was it acquired?
