In the early morning of October 6, after receiving a report from the masses, the Fujianyuan police station stopped the van of the man suspected of being illegally hunted in the waters of the Yongjiang River. There were 3 men sitting on the car, equipped with water tank equipment, containing more than ten tails that resembled swords and had spots, which were identified as the national second-level key protected wild animal spotted plover, commonly known as "sesame sword". Subsequently, the police found more than 20 live "sesame swords" and 9 frozen "sesame swords" in a private house, and found a large number of crime tools.

At present, the suspects Qin xx, Li xx, and Liao xx have been criminally detained by the public security organs in accordance with law on suspicion of illegally hunting, transporting, and selling the country's precious and endangered wild animals, and the case is still under further investigation.
