At about 10:00 a.m. on November 10, a large team of police officers from the highway of the traffic police detachment of the Nanning Municipal Public Security Bureau received an alarm from the citizens, saying that a vehicle scraping accident had occurred in the Shibu section of the Guangkun Expressway, and the police immediately sent police to the scene to investigate. This was originally just an ordinary traffic accident, but what is strange is that after the accident, the driver of the white van involved not only did not report to the insurance company, nor did he wait for the traffic police department to come and determine the responsibility for the accident, but increased the throttle and left the scene...

After the traffic police dealt with the scene accident and found that the driver of the vehicle wanted to abandon the car and escape, the traffic police department quickly launched a chase, quickly caught up with the van, ordered the man driving the vehicle to pull over for inspection, and found a tank device on the modified van, which contained a large number of freshwater fish, including 7 sword-like and spotted fish. The traffic police immediately notified the police of the XixiangTangshibu Police Station in Nanning City to come to the scene and bring the man back to the station for investigation. According to the identification of Nanning Comprehensive Agricultural Administrative Law Enforcement Personnel, this fish is a national second-level protected wild animal spotted plover, commonly known as "sesame sword".

Modified vehicle transport "Sesame Sword"

According to the identification of the Nanning Municipal Agricultural Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Personnel, the man transported 7 freshwater fish with national second-level protected wild animals, commonly known as "sesame swords", one of which is 2.9 kilograms, which is the thickness of an adult's arm, and the remaining 6 are smaller, weighing a total of 6 kilograms. The man Wu Mou (pseudonym) refused to admit his illegal behavior on the pretext that he did not understand what kind of fish was transported, but the police found from the chat records of his mobile phone that Wu repeatedly mentioned the name of the "sesame sword" in the communication with others on the same day. In the face of the evidence issued by the police, Wu could only admit the fact that he transported the "sesame sword".

It turned out that on the same day, Wu was entrusted by a man to transport a batch of freshwater fish that had just been caught from the Long'an Reservoir to a market in Xixiangtang, and someone would come to receive the fish. Wu Mou knew that among the fish he transported, there was a "sesame sword" listed as a national second-level wild protected animal in February this year, but he coveted the high freight provided by the hunters, and was lucky, thinking that he would not be discovered, so he took the risk and drove the vehicle to transport this batch of fish to Nanning City, but he did not expect to be seized by the police halfway.

At present, Wu Mou has been criminally detained by the Xixiangtang police for suspected crimes of endangering rare and frequently endangered wild animals, and the case is under further investigation.
