According to reports, the A20 chip will use the new WMCM (Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Packaging) packaging technology to replace the previous InFo (integrated fan-out packaging). The WMCM package technology excels in signal transmission, reducing signal delay and interference to improve the overall performance of the device, especially for devices that require high-speed data processing.
According to the news, combined with TSMC's plan to mass produce the 2nm process by the end of 2025, Apple has booked all initial production capacity.
