Last year, the first Min Huifen Youth Erhu Art Exhibition was held in Shanghai, which was the first erhu art exhibition in China named after the famous erhu player Min Huifen, attracting more than 200 young people from the Yangtze River Delta to participate, and this year's contestants have expanded to the whole country. At last night's concert, Zhang Jingran, who won the Best Performance Award for Min Huifen's Works, played "Honghu Theme Caprice" arranged by Min Huifen; Peng Xiaoyan, a student from Yixing of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, returned to his hometown stage to play the "Fifth Second Hu Rhapsody - Hymn" played by Min Huifen; Zhang Languo'er from Nanjing Art Primary School is the age of Xiaoshengchu, and she hopes to follow the footsteps of Min Huifen's grandmother, enter the upper tone from Jiangsu, and start her own artistic path.
This morning's event also opened a public welfare master class for the violin children, and Liu Guangyu, one of Min Huifen's students and a famous contemporary erhu player, taught Min Huifen's classic repertoire: "Honghu Theme Caprice" and "Rivers and Rivers". Composer Zhou Chenglong recalled that Min Huifen was always serious about art to be meticulous, in 1988 she played Zhou Chenglong's "Legend of the Kolaqin Grassland", and the light string was considered for half a day, which surprised Zhou Chenglong: "Her song was pulled into the soul, pulled to the vast world that the composer did not expect." ”
As we all know, erhu vocal cavity is an important academic research direction of Min Huifen, and she has also recorded a number of Peking opera singing voices with erhu. Students also often bump into her in the school's record room. Once, Min Huifen walked out of the record room with a look of excitement and told Ying Long, a Huqin player who was studying in Shangyin at the time, that to study the erhu vocal cavity, we must listen to the records of Shandong folk musician Wang Dianyu. Ying Long, who played the piano, came to listen to it, and if he got the most precious treasure, it was exactly the same as the human voice.
Min Huifen is amiable and respectable. With the group tour, she is in economy class, the train does not sit soft sleeper, never engage in special. Erhu famous Deng Weimin followed Min Huifen from Jinan to Shenyang to perform in the 1980s, and everyone on the train was talking and laughing, and Min Huifen suddenly quieted down and practiced the piano for two hours before continuing to chat with everyone. She is very humorous in life, "You are right at all" and "With you, I don't have to worry about it anymore", are her mantras, often making everyone laugh.
