From November 8th to 11th, the first "Min Huifen Art Week" was held in Zhoukou Normal University, co-sponsored by the Chinese Musicians Association, the Henan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Zhoukou Municipal People's Government, and the Zhoukou Normal University, and hosted by the Erhu Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, the Henan Musicians Association, and the School of Music and Dance of Zhoukou Normal University. Experts, scholars, performers and erhu art lovers from universities and orchestras such as the China Academy of Arts, the Central Conservatory of Music, the China Conservatory of Music, the China Academy of Opera, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts, the Nanjing Academy of the Arts, the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, the Shanghai Theater Academy, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra and other universities and orchestras gathered in Sanchuan to share an artistic feast.

Mr. Min Huifen is the first generation of world-renowned erhu players trained by the New China Higher Conservatory of Music, and is a banner figure of contemporary Chinese folk music going to the world. As a thinker among performers, she left nearly 150,000 words of literature, and she put forward the aesthetic concept of "emotional charm" and the aesthetic principle of "instrumental music", which greatly enriched the treasure house of Chinese folk music. In the past half century, Min Huifen has created the "Min Huifen Era" in the history of New China's Erhu with her character and art. With its continuous and tireless exploration, creation and thinking, it has added its weight to the century-old erhu. Holding the first "Min Huifen Art Week" is to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China with prosperous national music, and to deeply commemorate Mr. Min Huifen and inherit national music.

At 9:00 a.m. on November 9, the inauguration of Min Huifen Art Center and the unveiling ceremony of the bronze statue of Min Huifen were held at the Min Huifen Art Center of Zhoukou Normal University. Han Xin'an, Secretary of the Party Group of the Chinese Music Association, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Association, Mao Guodian, alumnus of Zhoukou Normal University and vice chairman of the China Book Association, Zhou Hong, chairman of the Henan Provincial Music Association, Wang Yunbiao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhoukou Normal University, and Mr. Liu Zhenxue, a family member of Min Huifen, jointly unveiled the bronze statue of Min Huifen. The unveiling ceremony was presided over by Wang Hong, member of the party group and deputy secretary general of the Chinese Music Association.

In his speech, On behalf of more than 27,000 teachers and students of the school, President Li Yifan extended a warm welcome to the leaders, guests and friends who came to the school, and briefly introduced the basic situation of the school and the series of work of the school to organize the Min Huifen Art Museum and the "Min Huifen Art Week". Li Yifan said that today is not only a memorable day in the 46-year development history of Zhoukou Normal University, but also a memorable day in the history of the development of Chinese folk music in the new era.

According to reports, the school has always attached great importance to the professional development of art disciplines and art education, and now has a total of 17 art majors, including the National Music Research Institute and the Yue Tune Art Research Center, which is the first batch of cultural reform and development talent training bases in Henan Province and a provincial art education experimental center. In the past three years, the school's teachers have presided over 6 national arts funds (2 consecutive times a year), ranking first in Henan universities; Teachers and students have won more than 180 awards such as the National College Students Art Exhibition, the CCTV Young Singer Competition, and the Henan Golden Bell Award.
