League of Legends: Interview with Jensen – If I were in C9, we could have won the final

Hello everyone, here is cc chat game, I am cc good base friend kk.

In yesterday's LCS game, TL lost 0-1 to C9. After the match, DotEsports released an interview with TL's single Jensen, which translates as follows:

When Jensen moved to Team Liquid, it was the end of an era. He has been the starting single for C9 since 2015. For four years, he was consistently named one of the best performing singles in the LCS. Despite Jensen's strong personal ability, he was unable to accomplish his goal of winning the North American championship.

C9 and Jensen nearly won the championship several times. Their most recent attempt was against TL in the 2018 Summer Final. Jensen is one race away from first place, but TL shatters his hopes of achieving his dreams. The match ended 3-0 and TL won the title again. Jensen said: "I think one of the most painful things about my time at C9 was losing again and again in the final. ”

The following year, C9 reached the semi-finals of the World Series. However, that wasn't enough for Jensen.

On November 19, 2018, he officially transferred from C9 to TL. About five months later, he finally won his first championship trophy in years at the LCS. Although winning the North American championship was a milestone for Jensen, there were times when he felt he could also win the final in C9.

"Honestly, I think if I were in C9, I really felt like we were going to win the final. It's an afterthought, but I really think the C9 is improving very quickly in the race. When I was at C9, we didn't improve much. I didn't see that much growth in the team, but they did outperform me. ”

Of course, if Jensen continues to stay at C9, it is unclear whether he will achieve the same success. However, he believes that no matter what happens in the spring games, a move to TL is the right choice.

"Overall, I think it's the happiest for me because I need to change," he said. But you know, there's definitely going to be a 'if' argument. For example, what if we lost to C9 in the final... I'm happy at TL, so if we don't get good results, I'll be annoying, but I'm still happy because I'm happy here. ”

Now that his goal of winning the North American title is accomplished, Jensen has identified the main reason he left C9: his chances of winning the world championship. Although C9 reached the semi-finals last year, he still feels that he cannot continue to make progress in international competitions by staying at C9.

"When we lost to Fnatic in the semi-finals of the World Championship, a big reality was: I realized that their players were much better than us in almost all positions... I think if I stayed at C9, I wouldn't have been able to win the world championship. If I want to win more, I have to try to change. ”

He added: "Last year I realised that as long as you work hard enough, as long as you play well enough, any region can win the game. So I think if I make a change, TL can actually win the World Series as well. ”

C9 is the first North American team to reach the semi-finals of the World Series since S1. Compared to the C9, TL clearly has less experience, let alone participating in the World Series. But Jensen believes that if he had gone to TL last year, their world race wouldn't have ended so quickly.

"When I watch TL matches, their middle is a big weakness for the team. I don't think Pobelter is personally poor, but I just don't think he's doing very well in the team. So, I feel like if I'm in that position, TL definitely looks better. ”

TL and Jensen still have some way to go before they go out into the world. They currently dominate with a 12-4 record, followed by clg with 11 wins and 5 losses. Throughout the summer, the team remained nervous and showed no signs of slackening.

He said: "I think we're playing well now, so it's hard for us to really improve. I hope other teams catch up in the playoffs. Then we learn how they do it. "Jensen's confidence inspires him to play, and TL is looking forward to winning the next North American championship!
