The Wuhou District Labor Education Workshop "Exploring the Ingenuity of Intangible Cultural Heritage" series of training activities was successfully held

In order to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, further broaden the implementation path of labor education, enrich the connotation and significance of labor education, and improve the quality of labor education teachers, on June 5, the labor education workshop of Wuhou District, Chengdu carried out a training activity with the theme of "inheritance, integration and symbiosis" in the intangible cultural heritage inheritance base of Tianfu Art Park. Zhang Qing, Director of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Division of Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, Wang Yirong, a labor education teacher and researcher of Wuhou District Education Science Development Research Institute, relevant persons in charge of Chengdu Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, experts from the Inheritance and Development Department and all members of the Labor Education Workshop participated in the event.

At the beginning of the event, under the guidance of the docent of the venue, all the staff visited the intangible cultural heritage experience center. The venue displayed nearly 3,000 intangible cultural heritage commodities such as Shu brocade, Shu embroidery, lacquerware, silver filigree, bamboo weaving, Chengdu handmade, Pengzhou white porcelain, etc., which were presented with unique skills and exquisite art, fully interpreting the traditional crafts and cultural heritage with distinctive Chengdu characteristics, so that the teachers present felt the quintessential ingenuity of Sichuan intangible cultural heritage.

During the event, Lu Gang, Chairman of the Sichuan Cultural and Intangible Cultural Heritage Special Committee, delivered a welcome speech, expressing a warm welcome to all the teachers of the Wuhou District Workshop, and hoping that everyone would work together to protect, inherit and make good use of the intangible cultural heritage, so that the inheritance can enter the campus and the intangible cultural heritage will continue to bloom.

Chen Pengpeng, an expert from the Inheritance and Development Department of Chengdu Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, came to the scene and led everyone to experience the rope weaving of traditional intangible cultural heritage items, and promoted the organic combination of intangible cultural heritage skills and labor education with on-site teaching and practical interaction. Through this course, the teachers not only mastered the skills of rope weaving, but also experienced the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage culture up close.

The teachers of the three workshops in this training activity had close contact with intangible cultural heritage, understood intangible cultural heritage, and experienced intangible cultural heritage, and said that they would take this event as an opportunity to continuously hone the professional quality of teachers, explore the concept of education, optimize the curriculum content, and inherit intangible cultural heritage.

Subsequently, Zhang Qing, Director of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Division of Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, summarized the event, pointing out that the combination of intangible cultural heritage culture and school labor education is not only an important way to educate young people on excellent traditional culture, but also an important measure to promote the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
