May 19, 2024 is the 14th World Family Doctor Day, and the theme of this year's event is "Scientific weight control, health is always together". In order to improve the public's awareness and understanding of family doctor services, and at the same time provide convenient and efficient medical services for the majority of residents, on the morning of May 16, the Health Commission of the Gymnasium Square District of Longting North Road organized grassroots medical institutions to jointly support the hospital expert group to hold the "Family Doctor Contracted Service" free clinic and national basic public health service project publicity month activity. Wang Huaijun, member of the party group and second-level researcher of the Municipal Health Commission, and Sun Wenchao, deputy head of the Longting District Government, attended the event. At the event site, experts in internal medicine, general medicine, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular medicine, traditional Chinese and Western medicine, orthopedics and other fields patiently listened to the patient's medical history, carefully analyzed the condition, provided detailed medical consultation services for the residents who came to consult, and delivered the high-quality medical resources of the municipal hospital to the grassroots people. Experts from the Department of General Medicine answered the precautions for hypertension common in daily life, the reasonable diet of high blood sugar, and how to manage cerebrovascular diseases for a long time, and provided professional guidance and suggestions on medication guidance, medical examination, blood pressure and blood sugar measurement. At the same time, the village clinics and service stations in the district simultaneously carried out the national basic public health publicity and the second quarter of the family doctor contract performance service in the service community, which was recognized by the residents.
In this event, more than 40 publicity pages and more than 20 banners were displayed, more than 400 copies of publicity pages were distributed, and more than 300 people participated in the free clinic on site. In the next step, the Longting District Health Commission will continue to organize four grassroots medical institutions to strengthen the publicity and promotion of family doctor services, improve the level and coverage of medical services, penetrate the national basic public health services into thousands of households, and deliver family doctor contract services to the hearts of the people, so as to jointly protect the health and happiness of every family in the jurisdiction.
