In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and important instructions on party discipline learning and education, promote the study and education of party discipline to be deeper and more practical, and further guide party members and cadres to learn discipline, know discipline, understand discipline, and abide by discipline. On the morning of May 17, Zheng Huateng, deputy secretary of the Longting District Party Committee and president of the Party School, gave a special party class to all the students of the spring main class of 2024.
Zheng Huateng pointed out that the deep understanding of the revision of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China" is a major decision made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core to solve the unique problems of the big party, a major decision made in combination with the new situation and new tasks of comprehensively and strictly governing the party, and a major measure to improve the system of comprehensive and strict governance of the party. The majority of party members and cadres should deeply study and comprehend the political, theoretical, and practical significance of the "Regulations", further enhance political determination, discipline determination, moral determination, and resistance to corruption, and always be loyal, clean and responsible.
Zheng Huateng emphasized that first, we must take party discipline as the "outline" and cast a solid "foundation" for our establishment. Party members and cadres should not only internalize party discipline into spiritual beliefs and value pursuits, but also externalize it into codes of conduct and moral standards, and become a "firewall" for party members and cadres to resist temptation and prevent risks; Second, we must take party discipline as the "mirror" and sharpen the "foundation" of self-cultivation. Party members and cadres should not only study the regulations in depth to understand their spiritual essence and specific requirements, but also conduct self-analysis in combination with actual work and life, and find and correct the existing gaps and deficiencies; Third, we must take party discipline as the "ruler" and cast the "soul" of peace. Party members and cadres should consciously integrate party discipline learning and education into all aspects of party life, so that soul casting, discipline and morality become the internal needs and conscious actions of party members, and ensure that party discipline learning and education move from "effective" to "long-term".
