Jinyun News: May 15 is Chinese Dance Day, sponsored by Tianjin Dancers Association, Nankai District Culture and Tourism Bureau, District Sports Bureau, District Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Gulou Street Office, Nankai District Cultural Center, District Dancers Association, Gulou Street Cultural Station hosted the "Gulou Cup" Nankai District First Square Dance Conference Launching Ceremony and "I Want to Dance" mass dance performance activities held in Tianjin Drum Tower, the activity aims to give full play to the resource advantages of Nankai District in square dance, Guide the square dance enthusiasts in the whole region to dance in a civilized manner, not to disturb the people, and strive to be civilized and courteous Tianjin people.
The event attracted a total of 11 mass dance teams from Nankai District. At the launching ceremony, square dance enthusiasts from Nankai District issued a civilized dance initiative to all citizens, and led the participating teams to sign on the initiative wall, striving to be civilized and courteous Tianjin people. Subsequently, "Square Dance Aunt", "Shangchun Mountain", "New Laundry Song", "Miao Mountain Song" and other wonderful programs were staged one after another, including the folk dances of Tibetan, Mongolian, Miao, Uygur and other ethnic groups, as well as graceful classical dances, reflecting the richness of mass dance. The performance came to an end in "Blooming Flowers", which was co-created and edited by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cultural Center.
According to reports, after the launching ceremony, the Nankai District Cultural Center and the Nankai District Dancers Association will create two dances as a demonstration dance for this square dance conference, and will carry out promotion training for the whole city in June.
"From July to August, we will also organize cultural volunteers to go to grassroots dance troupes to carry out face-to-face tutoring, improve the artistic aesthetics and performance level of square dance lovers, and guide everyone to sing the praises of the new era and dance with a new style." Niu Gang, a cadre of the Nankai District Cultural Center, said, "The competition time of the first square dance conference in Nankai District is scheduled for early September, and square dance enthusiasts in the district will be organized to form teams to participate in the competition, and select high-quality programs for award and performance."
