In order to implement the corn sowing area this year, the technical station investigated the preparation of summer corn in our city and put forward technical suggestions for corn sowing.

1. When the average diseased leaf rate in the field reaches 0.5%-1%, large-scale emergency prevention and control should be organized immediately. The second pesticide control was carried out after 7-10 days of pesticide application in the re-issued fields. (1) This year's sown area is expected to be the same as last year. According to the survey, the sown area is expected to be 365,000 mu this year, which is the same as last year's corn sown area. (2) There are still many varieties of maize. According to a survey of Jinju Seed Company, sales outlets, and farmers' seed preparations, there are still many varieties of corn this year, and there are no dominant varieties. The varieties with large sales volume and farmers have prepared more varieties are: Haoyu 16, Woyu 3, Cangyu 787, Chengyu 668, Mingkeyu 77, Fengda 611 and so on. (3) Farmers are highly motivated to prepare seeds. According to the survey of 30 rural households, 17 households have prepared seeds, accounting for 56.7%. At the same time, the sales of Jinju seed company and various sales outlets were investigated, and the sales of corn seeds in the market this year were relatively good. 2. Technical suggestions for summer maize sowing

In order to ensure that the seedlings of this summer corn are all ready, the seedlings are complete and the seedlings are strong, and the technical suggestions for corn sowing are as follows:

(1) Select excellent varieties. Select "compact, dense-resistant, and lodging-resistant" high-yield corn varieties suitable for planting in our city, and the seed quality should meet national standards, and seed coating should be carried out for major pests and diseases, so as to prevent white seeds from being planted.

(2) Scientific selection of operating machinery. The first wheat harvest should be combined harvester with straw chopping and scattering function. Corn sowing should be multi-functional, high-precision, seed fertilizer ectopic and co-sowing corn single-grain precision sowing machinery.

(3) Improve the quality of sowing. After the wheat is harvested, it is sown early. "Spring for the day, summer for the time", to do early sowing is the top priority of the sowing work, and strive to complete the sowing before June 18. Vigorously promote mechanized single grain precision on-demand technology. When sowing, the sowing depth should be consistent, the row spacing should be consistent, and the covering soil should be consistent to prevent missed sowing, reseeding and skidding of the suppression wheel.

(4) Moderate densification and reasonable dense planting. The suitable density of compact and dense tolerant varieties can generally be mastered at 4000-5000 plants/mu. Generally, the field can be planted with 60 cm equal row spacing, and the high-yield field can also be planted in 80 cm and 40 cm "large and small rows".

(5) Lose weight and increase efficiency, and optimize fertilizer and water management. The bottom fertilizer is generally applied with 4-6 kg of pure nitrogen, 1-3 kg of phosphorus pentoxide, 3-5 kg of potassium oxide, and 1-1.5 kg of zinc sulfate per mu. Advocate the application of slow-release fertilizer, and water in time after sowing to ensure that all seedlings are sown.

(6) Do a good job of chemical weeding. High-quality and efficient herbicides should be selected, and the best dosage should be obtained before emergence after sowing. Pay attention not to respray or leak spray to prevent pesticide damage to corn.
