Recently, Qingdao's key urban renewal and urban construction projects - Guzhenkou smart parking lot and supporting projects and parking supporting projects around the sports center started construction, with a total of more than 1,200 planned parking spaces.
Guzhenkou Smart Parking Lot and supporting projects are located in the west of Haijun Road, West Coast New Area, north to Yingshanhong Road, south to Haiya Road, close to Guzhenkou Navy Park tourist attractions.
The project covers an area of 63 acres and adopts the mode of "above-ground park + underground parking" to revitalize and develop the existing park green space. The planning structure of the above-ground park is based on a one-axis connection of five hearts, a ring with a multi-point layout, a natural combination of architecture and landscape park, with the square as the center, to create a multi-point landscape structure function in the park, integrate naval elements, and take the support of the army, the study of the army, and the knowledge of the army as the emotional main line, forming a navy-themed Internet celebrity paradise integrating support, learning, travel, shopping and entertainment. There are more than 600 new parking spaces underground, which are equipped with intelligent management and efficient operation and supporting charging facilities, which provide factor guarantee for alleviating the parking pressure in the Navy Park during the tourist season and enriching the tourism resources along the Navy Road.
The parking facilities around the sports center are located in the east of Sansha Road and the south of Longmen Road in the West Coast New Area, close to the University Town Stadium, the home of the Qingdao West Coast team of the Chinese Super League.
The project covers an area of about 13.4 acres, with a construction area of about 6,000 square meters, and the construction of a parking building and supporting facilities, with two-story mechanical parking and about 210 parking spaces underground, and mechanical parking on the ground, with about 430 smart parking spaces.
The project makes full use of the idle corner land resources, and after completion, it will greatly alleviate the problem of parking difficulties for fans during football events, effectively solve the surrounding traffic pressure, and improve the evacuation capacity of personnel and vehicles.
