May 12, 2024 is the 16th "National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day" in mainland China, in order to further popularize the knowledge of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, so that teachers and children can master the basic knowledge and skills of earthquake prevention and avoidance, and improve the ability of emergency avoidance, self-rescue and mutual rescue and response, and at the same time, the kindergarten is a place where children grow up happily, on the morning of May 13, the central kindergarten of Ying'an Town, Jiang'an County, carried out an emergency evacuation safety drill for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.
Before the event, the central kindergarten of Ying'an Town, Jiang'an County, used theme activities to carry out safety education, so that children can understand the common sense of earthquake natural disasters and emergency avoidance, master the correct evacuation posture, evacuation and escape routes when the earthquake comes, and improve their awareness of safety precautions.
With the sound of the alarm, the earthquake drill officially began, under the guidance and help of the teacher, everyone quickly hugged their heads, hid under the table and other safe areas, curled up as much as possible, lowered the center of gravity of the body, protected the head, and avoided danger in an emergency. The second alarm sounded, and the children quickly evacuated from the front and back doors of the classroom and entered the emergency evacuation link. Teachers at important locations in each passage have teachers to direct the evacuation of children to ensure the safety of children during the drill.
Through this exercise, the safety awareness of all teachers and children was further enhanced, and the basic methods of rapid escape and self-rescue in the earthquake were mastered, and the expected results of the drill were achieved.
