On May 13, the Ministry of Education announced a batch of undergraduate colleges and universities to be agreed to set up.
In accordance with the "Higher Education Law of the People's Republic of China", "Interim Regulations on the Establishment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities", "Interim Provisions on the Establishment of Ordinary Undergraduate Schools", "Standards for the Establishment of Vocational Schools at the Undergraduate Level (Trial)" and other relevant provisions, as well as the results of the investigation and evaluation of the Eighth National Evaluation Committee for the Establishment of Colleges and Universities, after deliberation by the Party Group Meeting of the Ministry of Education, it is proposed to agree to set up 9 schools including Henan Institute of Physical Education, which is hereby publicized.
Among them, 2 universities were renamed and 7 universities were newly established.
