  The Civil Code of the People's Republic of China, the first law named after a code in mainland China, came into force on January 1, 2021. It covers many aspects such as marriage and family, inheritance, property rights, contracts, tort liability, etc., and is known as the "encyclopedia of social life", covering all aspects of social life.

  May this year is the fourth "Civil Code Publicity Month", with the theme of "A Better Life, Civil Code". Recently, the Office of the Shenxian County Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "Notice on Organizing and Carrying out the 2024 "Better Life, Civil Code Accompaniment" Theme Publicity Month Activities, and deployed the fourth "Civil Code Publicity Month" activity in the county in May, setting off a "new upsurge" of Civil Code publicity.
