In order to improve the public's awareness and ability to prevent telecommunication network fraud, effectively reduce the incidence rate of telecommunication fraud cases, and safeguard the property safety and lawful rights and interests of the people, on May 17, the Jingbian County People's Court, the Jingbian County People's Procuratorate, and the Jingbian County Public Security Bureau jointly carried out a concentrated publicity campaign against telecommunication network fraud in the county urban sports park.
At the scene of the event, the cadres and police officers combined the new types and characteristics of the current telecommunication network fraud, used easy-to-understand language to publicize and explain, made full use of hanging banners, distributing publicity materials, on-site answering questions and other methods to popularize the common means and prevention methods of telecommunication network fraud to the masses, and combined with the actual occurrence of telecommunication network fraud cases to remind the masses to be optimistic about their "money bags", and to strangers through telephone, Internet, text messages and other channels to request transfer and remittance, do not listen, do not believe, do not transfer, do not remittance, Telecom network fraud should be reported to the police in a timely manner, and the awareness of security precautions should be enhanced in daily life.
It is reported that this activity distributed more than 500 copies of the "Anti-Telecommunications Network Fraud Law of the People's Republic of China" manual, provided more than 50 consultations, and distributed more than 200 copies of publicity materials, so that the masses can further understand the common methods used by criminals to carry out telecommunication network fraud, play a good warning role, and create a strong atmosphere of anti-fraud by the whole people and the whole society.
In the next step, the Jingbian County People's Court will continue to use various forms to carry out publicity activities to prevent telecommunication network fraud, strengthen the work of using cases to explain the law, improve the effectiveness of popularizing the law, and contribute to the court's strength to protect the people's property security and build a solid financial security barrier.
