Ren Bin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Baoshan Village, introduced that Baoshan Village initially mainly relied on the development of traditional industries, with high energy consumption and low added value, "In order to achieve sustainable development, in the 90s, we began to shut down all high-consumption and inefficient enterprises, and strive to build a 'green bank', through the improvement of the ecological environment, the development of eco-tourism to take the green development path of circular economy and integration and interaction." ”
In order to build a mountain rural tourism destination, Baoshan has built four major areas, namely Baoshan Hot Spring Resort, Baoshan Rural Tourism Area, Sun Bay Scenic Area and Huilonggou Scenic Area, relying on the village collective economy and in accordance with the tourism industry development plan of "One Heart and Four Districts", forming a new pattern of all-for-one tourism development led by rural tourism, outdoor sports and forest health care.
"We have improved the greenway, recreational facilities, and living stations around the village, planted crops with both ornamental and economic value such as roses, tea, blueberries, and baiji, built the Longmen Spring Health Care Center, and launched ATV outdoor sports and other projects, creating an eco-tourism scene of spring flower appreciation, summer summer retreat, autumn leaf viewing, and winter ice and snow hot springs."
