May 12, 2024 is the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day, in order to improve the emergency avoidance ability of teachers and children in the whole park, enhance the earthquake awareness of teachers and children in the whole park, and ensure that the whole park evacuates quickly, orderly and safely after the earthquake, on the afternoon of May 10, Tangxiang Kindergarten in Chuanshan District, Suining City organized an earthquake evacuation drill.
01丨Safety education
In order to make the drill activities practical and detailed, before the drill, each class carried out earthquake knowledge and risk avoidance education by watching earthquake videos, teachers' explanations, simulated escapes, etc., so that children could further learn and be familiar with emergency earthquake avoidance and safe evacuation methods.
02丨Earthquake escape drill
At 3:00 p.m., as the first earthquake alarm sounded in the kindergarten, the teachers who were organizing activities in the classroom immediately informed the children: "Earthquake, baby, take shelter nearby!" As soon as the teacher's words fell, the children immediately held their heads in their hands and hid under the desk, in the corner of the wall and other areas for emergency evacuation.
03丨Evacuate safely
Flood prevention and risk avoidance
After a short evacuation, as the emergency evacuation signal sounded, the children, under the leadership of the teacher, held their heads in their hands, bent over, and evacuated nervously and orderly according to the designated evacuation route.
The teacher led the children to a safe place on the grass with a quick and methodical process. During the drill, the teachers paid close attention to the safety of the children, and when they were safely evacuated to the designated place, each class counted the number of children in time and reported it.
The teachers of each class report to Teacher Peng the number of children who should be present and who have actually arrived.
Summary of the event
After the alarm was lifted, Mr. Peng made a simple summary of the activity, praising the children for their quick response and orderly evacuation, hoping that if an earthquake really happened, the children could also be as unpanicked and actively save themselves as they are today.
This earthquake evacuation drill not only improved the ability of teachers and children in the kindergarten to deal with emergencies, but also enhanced the safety awareness and self-protection skills of children, and also effectively strengthened the safety education of kindergartens. Safety is no trivial matter, prevention is better than prevention, our park will continue to pay close attention to safety education, build a solid campus safety line of defense with normalized safety education, ensure the safety of children's lives, and care for the healthy growth of children.
