Surprisingly, as Israel besieged Rafah, Fatah, who was relatively moderate to Israel, actually joined the war. In addition, rockets flew from Syria to the Golan Heights.
Fatah's entry into the war means that Israel's insistence on besieging Rafah in defiance of U.N. warnings has angered the Palestinians. Fatah and Hamas, who once had differences, may not fight side by side, but they will attack Israel together.
Of course, Israel is not afraid, because behind Israel stands the United States.
The second thing is that the United States has changed its attitude and wants to continue to send weapons to Israel. I have to say that the speed at which the United States has changed its face is indeed very fast. The White House has just stressed that if Israel continues to carry out large-scale military operations in Rafah, the United States will stop providing Israel with artillery shells. The United States has indicated that it will continue to provide weapons to Israel.
The United States believes that for the time being, it cannot be said that "Israel has violated the conditions for the use of American weapons."
Well, it is the United States that suspends the supply of ammunition to Israel, and it is also the United States that threatens not to supply Israel with weapons. This time, it is the United States that has stressed the need to continue supplying weapons to Israel.
The good guys and the bad guys have made the United States all over the place, and for some reason, they still think that the United States is performing.
The change in the attitude of the United States may be related to Israel's condemnation of the United States. After the United States issued an ultimatum to Israel, Israel expressed its disappointment. Netanyahu's message is strong: Israel will fight to the end even if the United States does not help, and Israel has the strength to defeat its opponents.
Quite a number of US congressmen believe that the United States must provide Israel with weapons.

Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar are all condemning Israel, not to mention Turkey, Syria, and Iran. Soon, U.S. Secretary of Energy Granholm will be traveling to the Middle East, with destinations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
It is not difficult to see that the United States is about to start wooing Arab countries again. Otherwise, the countries of the Middle East are likely to unite against Israel.
If the United States continues to favor its allies and does not take concrete action to promote a ceasefire in Gaza, the EU will also distance itself from the United States.
