At the scene, the reporter also met a local villager who likes to eat mulberries and comes to pick them every year, and she enthusiastically shared the selection skills, "Mulberries should be hung on the tree, crystal clear, and the taste is the best." Regarding the benefits of mulberries, she further introduced that mulberries, known as the "folk holy fruit", not only taste sweet, but also have multiple health effects such as protecting blood vessels, improving immunity, strengthening the spleen and stomach and helping digestion.
Since its establishment in 2016, Shanghai Zifu Grain Planting Cooperative has been committed to providing high-quality agricultural products, such as Xiandaoxiang rice, fruit corn, strawberries, blueberries, etc. Taiwan's big-tongued mulberry, which is recently entering the mature period, is even more loved by tourists. Di Liguang, a staff member of the Shanghai Zifu Grain Planting Cooperative, revealed that due to the cold weather this year, the market time of mulberries has been slightly delayed compared with last year. "In order to ensure the high quality and yield of mulberries, our team has put a lot of effort into pest control. Through exchanges and learning with senior experts of the Municipal Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the fruitful mulberry tree has been successfully realized. "Thanks to the team's meticulous care and hard work, this year's mulberry yield has increased significantly, and the average yield per tree has doubled compared to last year, reaching 20 kilograms per tree.
