Due to the discovery of problems in at least two bags of products from the same production line, Shikishima Bread Co., Ltd. announced on the 8th that it was recalling 5 and 6 pieces of "super ripe Yamag-type" bread with an expiration date from May 7 to 11, recalling a total of about 104,000 bags sold in 15 regions including Tokyo, Ibaraki Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Aomori Prefecture.
In addition, the Tama factory in Tokyo, where the bread is made, has also suspended the production line involved and is investigating the cause of the contamination of the product.
So far, there have been no reports of damage to consumers' health. Shikishima Bread Company apologized for the incident and promised compensation.

In addition, the scandal of a large number of people falling ill caused by the problematic red yeast rice ingredient in the health care products produced by Japan's Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Company caused an uproar in public opinion, triggering the Japanese government to intervene in the investigation.
