In order to allow students to appreciate the charm of world culture in practice and broaden their international horizons, teachers and students of Yuhua Experimental No. 2 Primary School recently came to the China-Africa Culture and Economic and Trade Research Practice Base and started a novel journey to explore African culture.
In the "Dancing Africa" session, cheerful African music instantly ignited the atmosphere of the scene. The students followed the rhythm of the music and danced to their heart's content, as if they were dancers on the African savannah. Bright smiles spread across their faces, and laughter echoed throughout the base classrooms.
In the "Into Africa" activity, students used pictures, videos and stories to travel through time and space to the distant African continent. They saw scenes of life in Africa, learned about their traditional customs and unique artistic expressions. In the interactive session, the students actively asked questions, had a warm exchange with the teachers, and gained a deeper understanding of African culture.

In the "Inspired Africa" activity, the students experienced the charm of African drums. Under the guidance of the teacher, everyone beat the drum surface rhythmically with both hands. The students were immersed in the world of drum music and felt the unique charm of African music.
The "Pyramid Mystery" event was full of challenges and fun. Students are divided into groups and work together to complete the pyramid puzzle task. Everyone helps each other, encourages each other, and overcomes difficulties together. In this process, the students not only improved their hands-on ability and teamwork skills, but also gained a deeper understanding of ancient Egyptian civilization.
In the "Colorful Crowns" activity, students used their creativity to make their own unique crowns with a variety of different colors of feathers. They designed it with care, decorated it with care, and made the crown colorful and colorful. These crowns not only showcase the artistic talents of the students, but also reflect their unique understanding of African culture.
The "Creating Art Totem" session allowed the students to appreciate the unique charm of African art. The students felt the wonder of traditional African totems, and used different colors of clay to create works of art full of imagination and creativity on their black cardboard. These totems are like dreams in the hearts of students, blooming brightly.
In the "Mellow Coffee" session, through the teacher's explanation, the students learned about the planting, roasting and brewing process of coffee, and made cups of fragrant coffee by themselves, and tasted authentic African coffee. In the process of tasting coffee, the students felt the love and enjoyment of life of the African people.
Through this one-day research activity of the China-Africa Culture, Economic and Trade Research Practice Base, the students from grades 3 to 6 of Yuhua Experimental No. 2 Primary School learned by practice and grew through experience. Not only have they broadened their international horizons, but they have also gained a deeper understanding and respect for world cultures.
