According to the People's Daily on May 3, Jilin Province proposed to set up "medical insurance stations" in large business districts, enterprises, industrial parks, tourist attractions, bank outlets and related schools to improve the convenience of medical insurance services.

The reporter found that there are medical insurance stations in Jincheng, Shanxi, Dalian, Liaoning, Linhai, Zhejiang and other cities, and the medical insurance stations are mainly concentrated in pharmacies, hospitals, banks and other places where people often need to use medical insurance or where people are densely populated.
Lou Yu, director of the Institute of Social Law of China University of Political Science and Law, said that the medical insurance station is a medical insurance service network set up by grassroots medical insurance agencies in densely populated places such as banks, large hospitals, and large business districts.
"The current medical insurance station can be roughly divided into two categories: the manned type is to sink the handling services and consulting services, so that the masses can get the latest policy information and handle some business at their doorstep. The unmanned type uses technology to allow the masses to deliver information 24 hours a day, handle business without meeting, and can also buy drugs by themselves. Wang Tianyu, associate professor of the School of Labor and Personnel of Chinese University, introduced.
Wang Tianyu believes that the medical insurance station can indeed bring benefits to the insured. For example, some elderly people have difficulties in using smartphones, and medical insurance services sink into the community, and through face-to-face consultation, the public can understand the policy as soon as possible.
In addition, the medical insurance station can be combined with pharmacies, so that the trained pharmacist can become a "medical insurance consultant". Wang Tianyu reminded that pharmacies must be wary of giving tendentious advice because of their own commercial interests. The construction of medical insurance stations should also pay attention to long-term and feedback, and not engage in face-saving projects.
