"Li Youran's Image Chronicle"

The film crew of "Li Youran Image Chronicles" will be established on August 6, 2023 and will start on August 7. According to the style of the chronicle, the two examinations of "Li Youran's Original Translation of Li Youran's Anti-War and Anti-Japanese War Works" and "Li Youran's Diaries and Letters of Local Famous Artists at that Time" constitute a detailed narrative—that is, the video chronicle can replace or strengthen the oral history, but it cannot replace or surpass the recording and editing of many copyright owners' original copies and case-related personnel diaries and letters (for example, Li Youran inscribed Zhang Wentian's personal essay collection "International Family Letters" first edition of the rare edition, which is now in the National Library of France, to Roman. Roland's Seven Letters, etc.), which profoundly reveals the life of the poet, essayist, translator, and educator in this collection.

Aspects of a Great Man – Marx

Marx's Wife - Yanni

隔膜‬与‬欢乐‬

(Former words)

"Humani nihil a ms alienum puto"。

This is one of Marx's favorite proverbs.

It is a line of poems from the Latin comedy poet Terence's "The Man Who Blames Himself" in the 2nd century BC.

I don't know Latin, and if you look at the French translation, it means something like this:

"There is not a single human thing that is new to me. "

It expresses the deepest and highest emotions of human solidarity.

There is a great deal of separation between people.

These diaphragms are hardly visible (don't we see that ordinary people are very affectionate when they meet?), but they are actually higher and thicker than the city walls, and cannot be crossed.

Everyone has walls and confines himself in them.

Between people is between the walls of the city walls.

The most melancholy people also have the happiness of laughing at others.

Aren't everyone else too ridiculous?

The misfortune of mankind is the fruit of this "happiness".

However, behind all the "ridiculousness", whether near or far, bright or dark, when we investigate and think deeply, in the final analysis, there must be some "sad" and dark things that dominate there.

At the moment when we think it's ridiculous, we're laughing, and we're about to laugh, don't we suddenly feel that we can't laugh, and we fall silent, and we feel that it should be painful?

Aren't we really directly responsible for many ridiculous things?

However, people are "strange" to each other, and the city walls are wary of each other, and there are too few people who are truly full of a sense of responsibility who can see through the "ridiculous" and intuitive "pathetic".

The great philosopher of ancient Greece, walking under the sun and lighting a lantern, must have been looking for such a few.

Ridiculous people find ridiculous people.

How many sincere and brave people, in order to break through these high and thick heavy overlapping walls, were injured and fell "ridiculously".

Marx was the one who was most wounded.

It was as if I saw him sometimes discouraged, silent, and disappointed.

在收集《资本论》材料的那些常年的劳苦中,不断地更发现人与人之间的迫害,残暴,隔膜,陌生,漠不相关⋯‬⋯‬,他一定岂止一次独自流过泪。

But after each injury, he always became more uplifted, and devoted himself more to his writings and actions.

The scaly wounds all over the body are the best fit in the battle robe!

Marx extracted the supreme joy from the deepest suffering, and believed that there will always be a day when mankind, everyone will be more or less one by one

"There is not a single thing that is new to me"!

This proverb has the most profound meaning.

All compassionate thoughts and emotions are like waves pouring out of the sea, and nothing can be returned to this proverb.

The higher the wisdom of a person, the deeper the understanding of the meaning of this proverb.

Everyone has two things that should not be forgotten.

The same is their own name;

What's your name?

It's the same proverb;

What exactly is the point of it?

We all remember it!

It's like not forgetting your name!

- Marx

In her memoirs, Aphreen said: "There is no more interesting legend for all those who know Marx, that is, to think of Marx as disgusting, difficult, stubborn, and unapproachable, as if an angry Zeus was forever thundering with thunder and lightning, without a smile on his lips, sitting alone on the throne of Olympia. In fact, in the family and among friends, this hero of science and work is the most tender husband and father you can imagine, the most affectionate friend, the most lovely host. How pleasant he was! There was nothing more contagious and irresistible than his kind and honest smile. He is the most kind, caring, and patient comrade. He can forgive everything, unless you betray the interests of the proletariat. With a truly great man overflowing with wisdom and passionate love, he loves life and all that is lived.

He is engaged in outdoor sports. Fighting swords, passionately loving chess, hunting with Engels, running horses. The Russian scholar Govalevsky said in "Marx's Meeting": "Regardless of the fact that his beard was gray, Marx still rejoiced in the New Year, dancing with his wife or Engels' girlfriend." One day I saw him dancing with these ladies in a brisk footwork, in a solemn march. "

Marx loved his children, and they loved them as much as he loved himself. "Countless times," said Liebknecht, "passing through the poor quarters, he abruptly left us and went to stroke the hair of the little child who was sitting on the threshold, dressed in rags, and put half or a penny in his little hand. This is what is often the case: he leaves his work to play with the children, everyone runs and laughs, and he becomes a real child. Eleonore wrote that children could not find a better companion in the game than Marx. "This is a kind, kind, forgiving father," Flagg said. Children should be allowed to educate their parents, he has a habit of saying so. He never made his daughters madly fond of him, and he felt the slightest bit of paternal authority. He never gave orders, but asked them to do what he wanted them to do, or to make them obedient and not do what he didn't want them to do. But he was the most obedient father. "

What a magnificent story Marx made up to tell his children during a walk, in the summer, or in a long winter evening, and with what love, what a touch, his daughters reminisced about the happy days of their childhood and the beautiful stories told by their fathers. But none of these stories have been recorded or preserved. Moreover, he not only told stories but also introduced them to the masterpieces of world literature. He read aloud all night "The Song of Tail Bei Lengeng", "Gutren", "Don Quixote", "One Thousand and One Nights" and so on, and listened to them.

On Sunday, Marx's family, accompanied by close friends, got up fairly early to go for a large walk in the countryside. Carrying their lunch food, they left the city far away, often into the woods. On the way Marx sang folk songs, which he was very happy about, or took turns reciting the whole scene of Shakespeare with his wife. He picked wild flowers from the fields, made flower wreaths to put on the children's heads, and came up with new things.

His family and closest friends gave him the nickname "The Black Slave" because of his brown skin and ebony hair and beard, which often made fun of him.

Marx infects his children with a revolutionary spirit. All three of his daughters were glorious women fighters of the workers' movement. She was assisted by her husband, Laphgus Lola, who took an active part in the revolutionary movement in France. She made a great contribution to the spread of Marxism to the French workers. She was the one who translated "The Communist Manifesto", "Critique of Political Economy", "The Holy Family", and many of Marx's works into French.

夫人‬——燕妮‬

In this book presenting Marx, "Remembering Marx", an important place is left to his dear companion, loyal assistant, and his wife Yanni. Yanni shared the sorrows of Marx's life. In 1848, in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, when Yanni's husband Marx was arrested, the mother of three children, the youngest of whom was less than a year old, was also arrested on the ridiculous charge of "vagrancy". At night, Yanni was locked up in the castle with the prostitutes. The next morning, Yanni was locked up in a cold dungeon for two hours. The brutal behavior of the police station made even the pre-trial magistrate who interrogated Yanni angry, and the pre-trial magistrate wondered why the police had arrested the little child if they were so "enthusiastic". "The only fault of my wife is," Marx wrote in a protest essay, "that she is from a Prussian aristocracy, and that she participates in her husband's democratic faith." "

This arrest was Yanni's baptism of fire.

After that, Marx's family lived in exile, first in Paris and then in London, and many exiles were entertained in their homes. Yanni Marx, taking care of these revolutionaries who were forced to go to the country, that is really a "mother's credit"!

In Paris, Marx's family had a close friendship with Heine. The poet was their frequent guest. Heine read his own poems to Marx, Heine respected Marx's criticism the most, and on more than one occasion Heine revised the poems he had just written, following Marx's advice.

Anyone who knows Madame Yanni respects her the most.

Hyem Ribeknancchi said that the reason why he did not die in frequent and melancholy exile was because of this family.

Yanni lives by her husband's life, deeply aware of the truth and greatness of Marx's dedication to the cause of his whole body and mind. Marx was warmly concerned about the future of the Party and rejoiced in all the victories of the Communists. Poverty could not dampen Yanni's courage, although her family was often miserable, especially after leaving Paris and settling in London.

Often, in winter, children cannot go to school because there are no warm clothes. Marx was not able to go to the library to read books at times, because the last of his clothes was in a pawnshop. Marx's two sons and one daughter died during this period. When Marx finished his genius Critique of Political Economy, he had to send the manuscript to the publisher by registered mail, without even the necessary stamps.

Yanni wrote in a letter:

"I will tell you only one episode of our life truthfully, and you will see that there are very few people in the diaspora who suffer as much as we do.

"⋯‬⋯‬自从出世以后,这可怜的孩子没有一夜好好睡熟过,至多两三小时而已。 Later, he also developed a violent spasm, constantly twitching between death and his miserable life. My breasts were cracked and full of sores, and he sucked hard because of the pain, and his trembling little mouth was often full of blood. One day I was holding him in my arm and I saw the landlady come in. We paid her more than 250 dolaires for the winter, according to the contract, and the rest was not paid to her, but should be paid to the big landlord. But the landlady came in and said that the deed was void, and that we owed her five gold pounds. We had no money, so the two porters came and moved our little things: beds, shirts, clothes, everything, even the cradle of the unfortunate child, even the children's favorite toys, and the children wept at the sight of this. The men also threatened that they would move everything in two hours. So I was already sleeping on the bare floor, with the cold shivering children and my sick breasts.

"The next day we should leave that residence. It was cold and it was raining, and my husband went out to find a new place to live. But no one wanted us, and when we heard that there were four children. In the end, a friend helped us and we paid the 5 gold pounds. Soon I sold my bed to warm up the pharmacy owner, the bakery, the butcher, and the milkman, who were so frightened by this good example of moving old things that they all came in with bills. "

A fragment from one of Jenny's journals (quoted in his memoirs by Hayam Ribeknancsi) says that even when little Francesca died, there was no money to bury her.

"I ran," she wrote, "to the home of a French expatriate, who lived next door and had only recently come to see us. He kindly offered me two gold pounds. "

Not afraid of misfortune, not afraid of the untimely death of three children, for the benefit of the oppressed, what kind of will is needed, how hard as iron, how infinitely sincere, every day without interruption of their unyielding struggle against the whole world!

Yanni died in December 1881, when Marx himself had almost died of severe pneumonia, and was just getting better. The friends were worried about Marx's health. Marx set out on a trip to southern Europe and then to Algeria. "我的心思啊,"从阿尔及利亚京城里,他写道:"是全部被对燕妮的追忆所吞噬了⋯‬⋯‬。 "
