As the second largest agricultural characteristic industry in Jiedong, roasted tea has achieved remarkable results in industrial development in recent years. At present, the total planting area of Jiedong roasted tea reaches 37,000 mu, with an annual output value of nearly 1.44 billion yuan, which has become an important way for local farmers to increase their income.
In order to further promote the high-quality development of Jiedong's agricultural industry, Jiedong District is striving to build three municipal-level agricultural industrial chains of bamboo shoots, roasted tea and camellia. It is estimated that by 2025, the tea planting area in Jiedong will reach more than 40,000 mu, with an annual output of 15,000 tons, and the total annual output value of the industrial chain will reach 1.8 billion yuan.
