The peak passenger flow is expected to be on May 1, and the station is expected to send 503,000 passengers, including 318,000 passengers at Chengdu East Railway Station, 57,000 passengers at Chengdu South Railway Station, and 50,000 passengers at Chengdu West Railway Station.
In view of the concentrated travel of passengers, Chengdu Station has enabled the peak train schedule, and plans to add 95.5 pairs of trains per day during the popular period, including 78 pairs of Chengdu East Railway Station, 10 pairs of Chengdu West Railway Station, 7.5 pairs of Chengdu South Railway Station, and 4 pairs of Chengdu-Guan Railway.
At the same time, the station continued to do a good job in passenger transportation services during the World Horticultural Expo, and Sanchahu Station opened an average of 2 pairs of trains per day during the "May Day" holiday. During the "May Day" railway transportation period, Chongqing Station is expected to send 2 million passengers, with an average of 250,000 passengers per day, and the peak of single-day passenger flow is expected to be on May 1, sending 280,000 passengers. The passenger flow is mainly for tourism and family visits. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hankou, Xi'an, Kunming, Nanning, Chengdu, Wanzhou, Guiyang and other directions are more popular.
According to the demand for passenger flow, Chongqing Railway Station flexibly and dynamically arranges the delivery of transportation capacity, and implements additional opening and reconnection of some popular EMUs to further increase transportation capacity. Continue to do a good job in passenger safety and service, analyze the dense arrival and departure time of passenger cars in advance, strengthen the organization of passenger flow, smooth the flow of passengers in and out of the station, convenient transfer lines in the station, and increase personnel in key parts such as ticket halls, elevator entrances, and platforms, so as to maintain and organize and guide passenger riding order to ensure the smooth travel of passengers.

On May 1, Guiyang Station ushered in the peak of passenger travel, and is expected to send 241,000 passengers.
In order to ensure the smooth travel of passengers, Guiyang Station has made every effort to strengthen the transportation capacity guarantee, and improve the transportation capacity through additional opening, reconnection, and running according to the previous passenger flow survey and prediction and ticket pre-sale. According to statistics, a total of 51 additional trains and 84 reconnected trains have been opened at Guiyang Station.
In terms of equipment support, the station actively carried out joint inspections of passenger transport and fire-fighting equipment before the festival, focusing on the maintenance of automatic ticket machines, ticket gates in and out of the station, and customer service equipment to ensure that the equipment is in good condition.
