On May 18, the first vertical screen short drama industry development summit seminar of the four provinces of "Youth Qujiang Vertical Screen New Vision" was held in Qujiang. Huang Zhiping, Deputy Secretary-General of Quzhou Municipal Government, was invited to attend. Wang Huijie, Secretary of Qujiang District Party Committee, delivered a welcome speech. The event was presided over by Shu Zhongsheng, a well-known news commentator from Qujiang Township. Witnessed by the leaders attending the meeting, the Meigao Short Drama Super Factory was officially opened. The first phase of the project is a modern scene, with a total area of about 70,000 square meters and more than 200 shooting scenes. After the base is put into use, the annual output can reach 1,000 vertical screen dramas. The second phase of the project has an area of 65,000 square meters, with a total investment of 700 million yuan, and can be put into use by the end of 2024.
Wang Huijie extended a warm welcome to all leaders, guests and experts. He said that in recent years, Qujiang District has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on the inspection of Zhejiang, comprehensively promoted the implementation of the "3+10" major work of the Provincial Party Committee and the "10+2" key work of the Municipal Party Committee, and continued to promote the integrated development of "industry, city and people". At present, Qujiang District is focusing on the goal of "making the city more friendly and the youth more promising", continuing to deepen the construction of the "Five Cities", striving to build a "Youth Qujiang", and promoting the youth and the "Youth Qujiang" to achieve two-way travel, mutual achievement and common development.
Wang Huijie said that in recent years, the short drama industry has shown explosive growth, and the market potential is huge. In this summit seminar, the guests spoke freely and expressed their opinions, and deeply discussed the development path and cutting-edge trends of the short drama industry, providing more insights for improving the development of the industry and providing more valuable opportunities for the development of Qujiang. In the future, Qujiang District will continue to increase its support for cultural and creative industries, accelerate the construction of Qujiang Meigao Short Drama Super Factory, and strive to build a whole industrial chain integrating content creation, shooting and editing, publicity and promotion, so as to effectively provide the best quality services for the development of the industry.
