In recent years, in view of the current situation of young and middle-aged laborers going out to work, Bangyang Village has continued to further promote the unified technology and unified standard planting model of "company + cooperative + farmer" since 2019, and led farmers to plant sweet potatoes with the strong support of Liuzhou Qiuyejia Ecological Agriculture Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd.
The support units and village committees also helped the villagers abandon outdated concepts and follow scientific seedling raising, transplanting, fertilization and pest control methods by inviting technicians for on-site training, carrying out planting expert evaluation and commendation, and pilot guidance of farmers. In the two years from 2022 to 2023, Bangyang Village has driven a total of 258 households to plant sweet potatoes, with a planting area from dozens of mu to 280 mu, and the output has also broken through from the initial yield of 500 kg per mu to 1,500 kg per mu, with a total annual output of 420,000 kg, achieving leapfrog growth, and successfully becoming a partner with the raw material production base of Rongshui Qiuyejia potato flour.
In 2024, in order to improve the quality of the supplier's products, Bangyang Village took the initiative to improve the varieties, and changed the originally planted white-hearted starch potatoes to sweet potatoes with better quality and better quality, which can be sold as fresh potatoes, and at the same time have the attributes of deep-processed preserved potatoes, dried potatoes, and potatoes. And create a classroom for the integration of production and education, invite technical experts to carry out training in the village, widely popularize planting technology, and actively mobilize party members to become rich leaders to establish standardized standard demonstration sites, and try different planting technologies, fertilizers used in production and management and protection methods. At the same time, the use of the support unit to help funds focus on cultivating high-quality growers, change the previous cooperatives and companies to sign quotation contracts, to farmers directly sign contracts with the company, cultivate farmers' sense of responsibility and participation, follow the market rules to improve yield and quality transformation and upgrading, guide villagers to develop characteristic agriculture, and continue to grow bigger and stronger, and further realize the steady increase in production and income of the collective economy.
