In the past few days, affected by the continuous high temperature and drought and lack of rain, the water level of the pond has decreased in Ganqing Village and Guantang Village in Xingquan Town, and the residents have difficulty in drinking water and water shortage, which has brought a certain degree of inconvenience to the production and life of the villagers.
In order to reduce the impact of drought and lack of rain on agricultural production and drinking water for people and livestock in rural areas, the Huaping County Fire and Rescue Brigade gave full play to the strength of the full-time fire brigade of Xingquan Town, which had been built, to send "timely water" to the villagers and alleviate the urgent needs of local villagers.
In order to allow the villagers to use assured water, before delivering water, the full-time fire brigade of Xingquan Town carefully cleaned and disinfected the water supply equipment such as fire truck water tanks, hoses, and water guns loaded with water to ensure that the water supply was clean and hygienic.
In the village, every time the fire truck arrives at a water point, villagers on tricycles with buckets of water line up to get water. When it is inconvenient for villagers to get water, full-time fire brigade members deliver water directly to their homes.

"Thanks to them for coming to deliver water to us...... "At the water delivery site, the villagers expressed their recognition and gratitude to the full-time fire brigade every word.
In the mountains, the full-time fire brigade members stood in the mountains under the scorching sun, holding water hoses, filling up the dry reservoirs one by one, and solving the problem of irrigation water for the villagers. While delivering water, the full-time fire brigade members also did not forget to carry out fire safety propaganda and remind the villagers to pay attention to fire safety in hot weather.
The full-time fire brigade of Xingquan Town, Huaping County, was built and put into operation in 2020, with 12 full-time team members and 2 fire trucks. Since its completion, the full-time team has given full play to the advantages of being close to the front, strong mobility, and familiar with the situation in the jurisdiction, and has played a stable role in township fire fighting and emergency rescue, fire publicity and education, fire hazard investigation, and grassroots convenience services, effectively filling the gap in township fire rescue forces.
