The congestion time period is concentrated from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m., reaching the severe congestion delay index, and it is recommended that the majority of drivers avoid rush hour.
At present, the Chufengyuan parking lot and Liyuan Square parking lot in Tingtao area, as well as the Meiyuan East parking lot and Wanmei Road parking lot in Moshan area still implement the reservation parking system, and non-reserved vehicles are prohibited from entering; Lumo Road (Bayi Road to Tuanshan Road) is prohibited from parking, and the original parking spaces are suspended from 8:00 to 20:00, and the vehicles that seriously affect the traffic will be towed.
Detour tips: When vehicles entering the greenway from Tingtao Scenic Area encounter congestion, they can detour to Happy Avenue to enter the greenway from Baimazhou Station, or they can continue to take Qingwang Road to enter the greenway from Luoxia Guiyan Station.
If the vehicle entering the greenway from the Moshan Scenic Area is congested, it can detour to the Tuanshan Tunnel and enter the greenway from the west gate of Yujiahu Road Forest Park or the south gate of Luoyu Road Forest Park.
If the vehicle entering the greenway from the Luoyan Scenic Area is congested, you can take the Qingwang Road Huamucheng Post Station and Binhu Post Station to enter the greenway, compared with the two main entrances of Liyuan and Moshan, these two post stations have relatively less traffic flow and more sufficient parking spaces.
Self-driving tour vehicles, taxis, and online car-hailing vehicles can temporarily stop on the south side of Tuanshan Road to pick up and drop off passengers, and transfer to shared bicycles to enter the scenic spot. There are temporary parking spots on Tuanshan Road, and taxis and online car-hailing services can choose to pick up and drop off passengers at the temporary parking spots on the south side of Tuanshan Road to avoid congested road sections.
During the Cherry Blossom Festival and Qingming Festival, the total number of tourists in the East Lake Scenic Area has exceeded 9.374 million, and the total traffic volume has reached 2.798 million vehicles.
