From April 24th to April 26th, the Municipal Health Bureau organized the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the Second Chongzhou Hospital, and the Chongyang Street Community Health Service Center to go to Malkang City to carry out business training, free diagnosis and drug delivery, and guidance on the creation of "second-class A" disease control institutions.
The training team composed of the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and the Chongyang Sub-district Community Health Service Center shared with the medical staff of the Malkang Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the Municipal People's Hospital, the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the township and community health centers on the evaluation indicators for the elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, hepatitis B and syphilis, and the management experience of the 12 major projects of basic public health services.
The medical workers of the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the Second Chongzhou Hospital, and the Chongyang Street Community Health Service Center went deep into Chami Village, Zhuokeji Town, Malkang City, to carry out free clinic and medicine delivery activities for the villagers, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with orthopedics, rehabilitation physiotherapy, gynecology and other related diseases, and to send symptomatic medicines to villagers suffering from neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain, stomach problems, high blood pressure, and kidney stones, and popularize health knowledge. The free clinic team provided diagnosis and treatment and consulting services for nearly 200 people, donated drugs worth about 11,000 yuan, and distributed more than 500 copies of health promotion materials, so that villagers can enjoy high-quality medical services at their doorsteps and feel the deep friendship of "Chongma family".
The Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention also sent technical backbones to the Malkang Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention to provide technical guidance on the center's establishment of a "second-class" disease control institution.
It is reported that since 2016, the city's health system has adopted the method of "one-to-one pairing assistance and hand-in-hand technical guidance", and has successively gone deep into many health centers in Malkang City to form pairs with relevant clinical departments, making full use of the advantages of discipline resources to help Malkang medical and health institutions improve their disease treatment capabilities and strengthen the construction of local health talent teams. Over the past 8 years, the municipal health system has continued to consolidate the achievements of counterpart support and assistance, and has sent a total of 93 professional and technical personnel to support Malkang, carried out more than 500 academic lectures, more than 550 teaching rounds, and discussed 500 difficult cases, promoted 98 suitable new technologies and new businesses, built 4 characteristic (key) specialties, trained more than 3,000 people, made more than 20,000 rounds of free medical consultations, concentrated on treating more than 5,000 poor patients, and donated materials and medicines worth 149,000 yuan.
