CR14MO4V模具钢的特性

(1) Since the CR14MO4V is medium and high carbon steel, the alloying elements V and Mo that can form strong carbides and medium strong carbides must be added to avoid the formation of too much carbide between the CR element and the C element, reduce the content of CR elements in the matrix, and thus reduce the corrosion resistance.

(2) The carbides of V and Mo elements can not only be used as the reinforcement of CR14MO4V steel, but also improve the strength, hardness and wear resistance, and can also play a role in refining the grain and improving the toughness of the steel.

After high-temperature quenching, most of the elements CR, Mo and V are dissolved in the matrix structure. After high-temperature tempering, most of the CR, Mo and V elements will precipitate in the form of carbides, especially the carbides of Mo and V elements, which will cause the secondary hardness effect of steel.
