On April 28, the Yicheng District Legal Volunteer Service Team led legal volunteers to go deep into towns and communities to carry out grassroots conflict and dispute mediation activities to help the masses solve practical problems, reduce social contradictions, and build a more harmonious and stable social environment.
During the activity, the legal volunteer service team successively came to the scenery community of Xinhua Sub-district Office, Xinhua Community and Sundian Village of Xiangshan Sub-district Office, communicated with the masses face-to-face, listened to their demands, answered the relevant legal questions consulted by the masses one by one, and explained in detail the typical cases in daily work and life in view of the land disputes, neighborhood conflicts, family disputes, labor disputes and other issues often encountered by the masses, so as to popularize the law with cases and effectively shorten the distance with the masses.
Through a series of legal popularization and conflict mediation work, it has not only improved the legal awareness of the masses, but also effectively resolved and reduced potential social contradictions, promoted social harmony, and achieved good legal and social results. Many residents said that this kind of "down-to-earth" legal services made them feel the temperature and enhanced their awareness of protecting their rights in accordance with the law.
It is understood that since its establishment, the legal volunteer service team has registered a total of 131 volunteers, who have organized hundreds of legal service volunteer activities around the needs of the people in the jurisdiction, and have reached an audience of 30,000 people. In the next step, the legal volunteer service team will continue to play a functional role, innovate ideas, strengthen the rule of law to benefit the people and serve the people, carry out various forms of legal volunteer service activities on a regular basis, strive to provide more high-quality and convenient legal services for the masses, and be a practitioner and inheritor of the spirit of Lei Feng in the new era.
