Recently, General Dynamics Land Systems delivered the first mass-produced M10 Booker combat vehicle to the U.S. Army, which combines the firepower and mobility of a main battle tank, equipped with advanced weapons and fire control systems, with excellent mobility and protection performance, and can provide fire support for infantry units in various environments, aiming to enhance the combat capabilities of light infantry and airborne troops. So, how does the vehicle perform, and what is the significance of its service to the U.S. military?

Recently, social media showed that the Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma helicopter equipped with the 5th Combat Helicopter Regiment of the French Army is equipped with a SH20 20mm cannon for ground fire support missions. This is reminiscent of the AC-130 transport aircraft, known as the "flying gunboat" - equipped with a 20mm Vulcan 5-barrel Gatling cannon on the side of the aircraft, spraying 4,000 shells per minute, while circling, while striking condescendingly, the shells are like pouring rain. In fact, not only transport aircraft, but also many helicopters have also been equipped with large-caliber cannons to enhance suppressive firepower. So, what is the importance of the cannon to the fighter, and how to choose the caliber of the cannon?
