The United States sent a 5-point strong signal
The core of Blinken's three-day visit to China is that there are five core points of Blinken's visit: first, seeking China's refusal to support Russia; second, not unilaterally changing the status quo in the Taiwan Strait; third, asking China to exert pressure on Iran; fourth, the issue of disputes between China and the Philippines over islands and reefs in the South China Sea; and fifth, the so-called "overcapacity" issue raised by Yellen during her visit to China.
Under normal circumstances, visits to other countries are done with sincerity, while the United States prefers to go sideways and visit other countries with its usual hegemony and arrogance.
And of these five points, China has only one point to talk about with the United States.
The Taiwan Strait issue and the dispute between China and the Philippines over islands and reefs in the South China Sea are not matters to be discussed or not, but that the United States should not interfere in other countries, and there is only the issue of so-called "overcapacity", which China and the United States still need to talk about.
Is there overcapacity in China?
Two pieces of news can show the international community that China's production capacity is not only not in surplus, but in short supply.
The first news is that the 2024 (18th) Beijing International Automobile Exhibition ("Beijing Auto Show") kicked off on April 25.
There are more than 1,500 exhibitors, 278 new energy models, 117 world premieres, and 163 press conferences, which comprehensively demonstrates the new development trends of China's domestic and global automotive industries, and also shows the world why China's new energy vehicle industry is leading and its significance to the world in the most vivid and vivid field.
According to relevant reports, many people queued up at the door for 40 minutes before arriving at the main entrance of the exhibition hall, which shows how many demanders the exhibition has gathered.
This can directly reflect the increasing demand for new energy vehicles.
According to the International Energy Agency, to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality in the future, global sales of new energy vehicles need to reach about 45 million units by 2030, 4.5 times that of 2022.
I believe that this is not only China's demand, but the global trend, so there is no so-called "overcapacity" problem, on the contrary, it is necessary to increase production, improve and upgrade the existing technology, and meet the needs of users as much as possible.
The second news, on April 26, Air China announced that it had signed an agreement with COMAC to purchase 100 C919 aircraft from it. The total base price of the 100 aircraft is about US$10.8 billion, and it is planned to be delivered to Air China in batches from 2024 to 2031.
C919 from the project to the first overseas air show successfully after 16 years, its process is arduous, spend countless efforts to have the current success and achievements, which just proves that China's industrial science and technology level is strong and powerful, but also enough to support in the coming days, no longer only China buys aircraft from other countries, Chinese should be proud of this, because this is not only the improvement of scientific and technological level, but also the ultimate performance of China's "a little bit every day, hard work can reach the end".
In the early years, Chinese orders used to account for more than 20 percent of Boeing's global sales. However, after several plane accidents, it has dealt a big blow to Boeing's credibility, so China gave up Boeing, which once made Boeing crazy, frantically looking for China to "tear up", "cheat", and even get involved in geopolitics.
No matter how much the United States tries to play scoundrels, China has to think about the safety of its people when they take flights, and secondly, China has such a good plane, so why does it have to import it from the United States? Is it because the United States has "overcapacity" and has no place to sell its goods, so it clung to China?
In the end, it is in vain to advise the United States not to engage in unilateral sanctions. Can China do without American technology and manufacturing, and can the United States do without China's technology and manufacturing?
