The "May Day" holiday is coming, and it is predicted that the passenger flow of the line network is expected to exceed 11 million on April 30 (the day before the holiday), and the average daily passenger flow during the festival is about 9.1 million.
In order to ensure the travel of citizens during the festival, on April 30 and May 1, the service time of the entire Guangzhou Metro network will be extended by 1 hour, and the last train at Lijiao Station of Guangfo Line will be at 00:00 (originally 23:00) the next day, and the last train at Xincheng East Station will be at 23:30 (originally 22:30).
Affected by the superposition of the public's off-duty rush hour and short-distance travel, it is expected that the subway network will have the highest peak passenger flow on the day before the holiday (April 30). In order to ensure the timely diversion of passenger flow, each line of Guangzhou Metro will be configured according to the daily Friday capacity arrangement, and arrange 1~3 spare trains to be flexibly launched according to the passenger flow, and the evening peak time of many lines such as the Guangfo Line will also be advanced to 13 o'clock.
