On April 24, after 9 hours of hard work, the pouring of the left cap of the 12# pier of the approach bridge in the East Gaodun District of the T9 contract section of the Shiziyang Channel contracted by Poly was completed. So far, the 24 approach bridge caps in this section have all been poured, and the horn of the pier construction has been sounded.

The Shiziyang Passage is another cross-river "super project" that Poly grew up to participate in the construction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Nansha Bridge and Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

As a project control project, the Shiziyang Bridge adopts the scheme of "one span across the river" of the double-deck steel truss suspension bridge with a main span of 2,180 meters, and will create a double-deck suspension bridge with five items of "main span diameter, number of lanes, main tower height, anchor foundation, and main cable scale" five firsts in the world after completion.

Among them, the total length of the approach bridge in the east high pier area is 1020 meters, the length of a single cap is 10.2 meters, the width is 10.2 meters, and the height is 4.5 meters, and the total amount of concrete of 24 caps is 11236.32 cubic meters.

The construction of the approach bridge cap faces multiple challenges, because it is located in the water-rich area near the sea, the geological conditions are complex, and the stability and installation accuracy of the steel sheet pile are put forward higher requirements; the frequent passage and operation of large equipment near the foundation pit greatly test the safety and stability of the foundation pit; the underground pipelines in the construction area are intricate, which also greatly increases the construction uncertainty.

The project department pays close attention to the key links of cushion cap construction, and ensures that each link is carried out in an orderly manner through the implementation of grid management and three inspection systems. At the same time, we pay attention to summarizing experience and optimizing the plan in the process to achieve efficient and refined construction management.

In the face of problems such as difficulty in controlling the construction of large volumes of concrete, the management personnel of the project department optimized the concrete raw materials in advance and optimized the concrete mix ratio. Through the embedded temperature control equipment and cooling water pipes, it ensures that the concrete maintains a stable temperature during the pouring and hardening process, and effectively avoids quality problems such as temperature cracks. In addition, the on-site implementation of the concrete vibration zoning responsibility system, clear vibration responsibilities and requirements of each region, to achieve the quality of the cushion cap "inside and outside".

In order to effectively improve the production efficiency of the project, the project team used BIM to simulate the construction process according to the consistency of the size of the cushion cap and the construction process, continuously optimized the process to organize the construction, reduce the idle period of materials and avoid the shortage of labor and the phenomenon of nest labor caused by improper labor allocation. During the construction, the on-site coordination of the operation, reasonable arrangement of the process, under the premise of ensuring safety and quality, the construction time of a single cushion cap was shortened from 38 days to 28 days.

At present, the T9 contract section is going all out to promote the construction of pier stud and cap beam, and continues to set off the climax of project construction. After the completion and opening of the Shiziyang Corridor project, it will be of great significance to the construction of a modern comprehensive three-dimensional transportation system in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, enhance the city's energy level and core competitiveness, further deepen the integrated development of cross-river and promote the integrated development of the Pearl River Delta region.
